If you want to travel to Busan by train, there are two options either by KTX (departing from Seoul train station) or SRT (departing from Suseo). KTX is the most popular way to go, but Suseo is located in the south-east part of Seoul so it is easily accessible from Gangnam with metro line 3 and 5. Also, Suseo often promotes up to 70% discounted tickets. I will show you how to get this deal.

Unfortunately no English language option in the website, but you can follow my guide step by step.
1. Choose Suseo and Busan, then click the purple area to continue.
2. Choose a date and a number of people you want to travel with.
3. Click to continue!
4. Now you need a Korean phone number and Kakaotalk. Choose the first Kakaotalk option (Yellow colour) for a fast log-in.
5. Early in the mornings and late nights seem to give you the best price.
6. Condition of this discounted ticket is to purchase a small item together. For example, you can choose a bottle of water as above and pay it together with the ticket, then you will receive a voucher to exchange it in 7 eleven after the journey.
7. The ticket price is 15,600 won instead of 52,000 won. 😉👍 Nice!
8. Once the ticket is purchased, you can find the ticket and voucher by visiting http://srtplay.com again.
